A fabulous winter scene provides the backdrop for the prepared run where you race the toboggan down to the valley. The toboggans are always thoroughly maintained and you can hire them in the alpine hotel for a fee of €3.50.

The Oberweissbach toboggan run in Waidring is one of Tyrol’s most beautiful natural toboggan runs, where you negotiate its 2.1 km length which has a gradient of 200 m, starting at an altitude of 1,000 m and then sloping down towards the end (at an altitude of 800 m) with a 10% average incline.

Only a 30-minutes’ walk along the Weissbach road.

The toboggan run is open from 10.00 am and is illuminated from dusk until closing time (12.00 midnight).

At the height of the season the toboggan taxis leave from the parking place in the valley daily at 4.00 pm, and off-season they run from Tuesday to Saturday at 6.00 pm. A fee will be charged.
